More Righteous Than I

What if the thing you’ve been avoiding is the very thing that would lead you to the life change and transformation you desperately need? Many of us spend a lot of effort and energy to avoid being confronted by our own sinfulness and need for God. In Genesis 38 we see and example of how God confronted one man’s hard heart to his own selfishness and sin through an unexpected source. This recognition of his sin and his need for God’s grace lead to a total life change for Judah. This message will explore how we drift so easily away from God, the nature of sin and how these moments of being confronted by our sin can lead to joy and hope in Jesus.
