What we are About

What to Expect

If you're new, you're not alone!
We have first-time students visit all the time.

Every Wednesday night, we spend time playing games and hanging out, listening to teaching from the Bible, and then discussing it in smaller groups of students.

We believe that the Bible is both absolutely true and absolutely relevant to everything we face in life (2 Timothy 3:14-17), which means that WHSM is all about learning what the Bible has to say to us so that we can know God and know how to live for him.

WHSM wouldn't be possible without our incredible team of adult leaders who are eager to get to know and walk through life with your student!

Whether you've been attending church your entire life or you're new to church altogether, we can't wait to meet you.

Elliot Goldinger

Director of Student Ministries

I've been the Director of Student Ministries here at West Hills since the spring of 2020.  A little bit about me:  I grew up in Northeast Wisconsin attending church, but I didn't truly begin following Jesus until my sophomore year of high school.  As I became more involved in the life of my church, I began to sense a calling to ministry, which led me to Boyce College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015, where I would meet my wife.  Just before graduating with my B.A. and M.Div from Boyce and Southern in 2020, I married my beautiful wife Alex and moved to Morgan Hill just a month later to begin serving at West Hills.

I want students to see, receive, and savor the gospel in their hearts and in their lives (John 3:16). I'm passionate about teaching the Bible to students and showing them how following Jesus changes everything (Colossians 1:28). My purpose is to point students to Jesus and equip them to serve him in middle school, high school and beyond (Matthew 28:16-20). If you're interested in learning more about our ministry, I'd love to hear from you!
