Blessed in a Strange Land

God calls his people to be different, but many of us have at various times struggled with being “in the world and not of the world.” The people of God in Genesis 45-47 are moved from the Promised Land to a region in Egypt called Goshen. We see that God does this to provide them protection and blessing so they can be formed as his people to later be sent back as salt, light and blessing to the world. This message asks us to consider how we’re being formed and shaped as God’s people and where God is calling you to be a blessing.
