And the Lord Was in the Prison

May 3, 2020    Mike Burchfield

After being sold into slavery in Egypt and prospering in the house of his slave master, Joseph is put in prison. But he prospers in prison in the sane way he did in the house of his slave master. How did he do that? and are there lessons in this part of Joseph’s life for us today? This sermon answers these questions by showing that the Lord was in the prison with Joseph and this made all the difference. Further, the message addresses service to God in obscurity as well as other lessons about God’s ways with his people. The sermon closes with an encouragement to this who do not follow Christ to consider well Christ’s claims and to believe on Him.
