Opportunity Only Knocks Once

In our text today Paul the apostle is reasoning with a group of Jewish people about the kingdom of God and about Jesus as Messiah. Some of them believed while others yet disbelieved. Paul then leveled a warning at those Jews who were disbelieving in hopes that they would heed his warning and yet turn to Christ. In Paul’s warning, we see a diagnoses of the heart and shows why some people believe and some reject the gospel. It is particularly applicable for your peek, because Pastor addresses them directly, encouraging them to embrace Christ by faith.
