Practical Lessons from Paul’s Practice

Jan 14, 2018    Mike Burchfield

After a long and arduous journey, Paul the apostle finally arrived in Rome, the center of government and culture of the Roman Empire; and upon arrival, he wasted no time reengaging in Christ’s mission. After resting for three days, he invited the leaders of the Jewish community to come to him, and after introducing himself, a time was set for Paul to tell them about the Way - and the basis for his faith in Christ. In this sermon, Paul’s interview with the Jewish leaders of Rome and his all day teaching session with them is explained and three practical lessons from Paul’s practice of mission are explained for 21st century Christians - lessons which encourage and help Christ’s followers as they serve as His representatives in their personal arenas in our world.
