The Holy Spirit, the Church and Christ

This sermon is the second sermon focusing on the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the church. Two questions are asked and answered: Why should believers and churches be concerned about the Holy Spirit’s presence and work in their midst? And also, what should believers do to be filled with, and to to walk in the Holy Spirit? The goal of this sermon is to show that believers and churches should be concerned about the Holy Spirit’s presence and power because it is by and through the Holy Spirit that we know Christ and make Him known, for the Holy Spirit shows us Christ’s glories, empowering us to worship Christ; and He empowers us to show Christ’s glories to others. The sermon also includes practical instruction about how can be filled and guided by the Holy Spirit, for life and witness.
