The Temptation of the Son of God

The first act of our Lord's public ministry was to be led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tested by Satan. Luke helps the reader connect the temptation of the Son with the Representative temptation of Adam through his genealogy.The reader is left with the universes most significant anticipatory question: will the Son succeed where Adam failed? In today's passage, we will see the Son of God do war in the wilderness as our Representative and only hope for salvation.
