Our responses when we are dishonored, threatened, forced, or asked for help say much about what we value. In Matthew 5:38-42, Jesus challenges us with statements that show our heart in how we respond in situations that force us to choose between fighting for our own kingdom or loving others as a member of a kingdom that is not of this world.
