Peter in Conclusion

As we consider 1 Peter 5:5b-11, we enter the conclusion to Peter’s letter to the elect exiles of Asia Minor. In his conclusion, Peter instructs christians what their attitude should be toward people, toward God and toward the devil, if they are to adorn Christ in the midst of their culture. In this sermon, these three attitudes of heart and life - humility, resistance and hope - are explained and application is made for christians living in the 21st century. The message shows how provides help and hope for those who face trials and sufferings, and prepares those living peacefully to suffer well, when suffering for Christ comes.
