Jesus, the Way to the Father

This sermon is the third in a series on the ‘I Am’ statements of Jesus from the gospel of John. In this message Jesus’ saying that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life is explained and applied. Said by some to be ’the mother of all politically incorrect statements’ due to it’s exclusive claims by Jesus, the statement clearly proclaims that Jesus is the only way to the Father. A claim such as this does not sit well with many in our day; and yet, Jesus’ claim must be reckoned with. If Jesus is right, He is the person to know more than any other who has ever lived. If he is wrong, he can only be considered a lunatic, or a liar.
