The Promise Revealed

This sermon, based on Matthew 1:17-25, is the first of a four part series celebrating Christ’s first advent. The message shows that God gave His people two road signs pointing to the One who was to come - prophecy and genealogy - so when His promised Redeemer arrived, people would be able to recognize Him and the promised one. Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecies and had the right line of descent, proving He was the Lord’s Christ.
