Seeking God Together in Dependence, Trust, and Worship

Prayer is foundational to everything we do at West Hills Community Church. Whether in private or gathered settings, prayer is how we express our dependence on God, align our hearts with His will, and intercede for the needs of our church, families, and community.

Why We Pray

  • God invites us to (Philippians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

  • Jesus modeled it in every season of His life

  • The early church depended on it for power, unity, and boldness

  • It keeps us rooted in humility, trust, and hope

What Prayer Looks Like at West Hills

Prayer is woven into every part of church life — from gatherings and ministries to leadership and small groups. We believe prayer isn’t just preparation for ministry — it is ministry.

Sunday
Services

Each service includes times of guided and spontaneous prayer, rooted in Scripture and shaped by the theme of the message.

Community
Groups

Prayer is a regular rhythm in our small groups, where people share burdens, praise reports, and support each other in ongoing prayer.

Elders &
Staff

Leadership teams commit to praying regularly for church members, decisions, and gospel fruit in our communities.

Prayer
Requests

Each campus provides opportunities to share prayer needs — confidentially or publicly — so we can lift one another up.

Need Prayer?

At West Hills, we don’t view prayer as a box to check — we view it as a relationship to cultivate. Our hope is that every person, family, and ministry would be marked by dependence on God, boldness in intercession, and joy in His presence.

Whether you're part of our church family or just exploring faith, we’d be honored to pray for you. Your request will be kept confidential and brought before the Lord by faithful, caring leaders.
