Jr. High (6th - 8th Grade)

At West Hills Community Church, the Junior High program is referred to as Christ’s CREW or more commonly as CREW for short. The word crew is defined as a group of people who work closely together. Our WHCC JH work closely with one another in learning about Jesus Christ and in making disciples for Christ. We also teach students that Christ Redeems Everyone Willing.

Our goal is to teach students about who God is and the message of Jesus in the Bible. Our leaders understand that this happens through learning the Word of God and building real relationships with the people of God. Students can expect to gain a better understanding of scripture and relate learning to daily application for the junior high student. Students can anticipate fun outreach events and games at our midweek CREW meeting. It would be our desire that each will also experience servant leadership opportunities by inviting friends to CREW weekday meetings. By learning God’s word through our weekly message and small groups, we believe students will have the opportunity to become Spiritual Champions for Christ.

When do we meet?

Sundays during 1st service from 9:00-10:30 AM (MH Campus)

High School (9th - 12th Grade)

Alive High School is all about seeing our students become followers of Jesus and helping others to do the same. Our youth leader team desires see this happen through our weekly teaching series, small groups, outreach and service events. High school students can expect to find ALIVE as a welcoming and friendly place, but they will also find it is a place to deepen their faith and hear more about God so they can grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Camps
Our summer camp and winter mission trip are opportunities for students to spiritually recharge, hear the gospel, learn to serve and develop their relationships in the ALIVE group with out staff and other students.
