Bible Text: Acts 2:17-26 |

We get an example of humble love in our passage of scripture today. Throughout the book of Acts we are challenged with how diverse the early church was. You see so many different kinds of people come to faith in Jesus and be part of the family of God that it should make you wonder how unity in the early church was even possible. Paul gives us the example of working to build unity with brothers and sisters in Christ who are different than us and he does this by bringing a gift from the gentile church to bless the Jerusalem church and by humbly sacrificing his preferences to love them. This message explores why there was a divide in the Jewish and Gentile church and how God uses Paul to overcome that division through humble love.
