If West Hills Community Church closed its doors, would anyone notice? This is an important question for any church to answer…do the people outside of the Christian community even know that it exists? At West Hills, this question has driven a focus on grassroots community ministry. While many of these ministries occur in the context of our community groups, members of the West Hills Community also serve by coming together to address a specific ministry area or to pursue a ministry that is more tailored to their specific interest or giftings. Below are some practical ways that you can get involved.
Join a Community Group
We invite you to get involved with one of our Community Groups today.
Connect with an existing outreach:
Kids Connection is a free after school program held on the school’s campus, designed to teach positive life skills to children through games, a teaching time about God, crafts, small group discussion time and a whole lot of fun with their peers.

Pacific Hills Manor
Pacific Hills Manor is a convalescent hospital around the corner form West Hills. In addition to monthly church services, there are many opportunities to serve the people who live there. Contact Todd and Ginger Jackson for more information.
Correctional Institution Ministry
Want to minister to those who are in the jail or juvenile justice system? West Hills has a number of individuals who are actively ministering to those who are incarcerated. Contact Eric Lindholm for more information about this area of ministry.
Ministry clearing house
Because of our grassroots focus, we encourage people to consider if there are areas that would best fit their gifts and passions. Sometimes the best way to find a way to serve is to set up an appointment to explore the opportunities in your local community. Contact Ken Fels to set-up an appointment to talk about current and future opportunities.
