The West Hills Community is a place where we desire to walk with God in our day to day lives. The church is not an institution or service provider, but rather it is an organism in which each person is an important part of the whole. At the West Hills Community it is our hope and prayer that the gospel is lived out in the church community in practical ways. What this means is that we as a church body desire to minister to individuals in our midst. Sometimes this ministry is organic, occurring in the context of relationships in which people see practical opportunities to live out the gospel by meeting a specific need that a brother or sister has. Sometimes, situations call for a more structured approach.
West Hills currently has two structured ministries that are designed to help specific areas in our church:
Life is filled with many challenges and sometimes it is hard to know who to turn to or how to connect what the Bible says to our “real life” struggles. West Hills is committed to helping people in our midst who are seeking to connect the Bible to the trials they face. All counseling is free of charge and is undertaken by pastors and church members who have demonstrated character and gifting, and have pursued appropriate equipping for the provision of wise Biblical counsel.
